Discover Success,
RideFinders-Style.

RideFinders drives success in so many ways. Employers reduce absenteeism, fill vacant positions, and improve productivity. Riders and drivers save money while enjoying a fun, reliable, and relaxed commute. And, the St. Louis region breathes cleaner air and travels less congested streets.

“It’s a no-brainer.”

“Riding in a vanpool is a no-brainer,” says Adam Clements, a RideFinders Vanpooler from Troy, IL. “It’s saves me hundreds of dollars each month, especially now that gas prices are so high. Vanpooling not only reduces the wear and tear on my own car, our Vanpool keeps at least four cars off the road.”

“There’s never been a better time.”

“There has never been a better time to try transit or vanpooling,” says Madison County Transit Managing Director SJ Morrison. “In the last few years, we have reduced local fares, simplified our service, and created ways for passengers to buy passes on their phones. Riding MCT has never been easier.”

Connections built over 20 years.

Donna Krekel, Senior Research Administrator, and Gary De Wet, Technical Support Specialist, have been vanpooling to and from the WashU School of Medicine campus since 1999. With Gary as the primary driver and an average of 10 total riders, they share their daily 55-minute commute from Union, MO.

For Donna and Gary, seeing familiar faces week after week has allowed friendships to flourish. “I knew her kids as babies, that’s just how it is,” says Gary. “You start to know people for a long time.”

Their complicity and trust are palpable, illustrating the human connections that can flourish from sharing something as mundane as a commute with people you would have never met otherwise.
